Welcome to the Digi Design Academy Charity Blog Hop!
Recently our dear friend, Trish had a Breast Cancer scare and she decided to use her experience to remind and encourage others to take exams regularly. Early detection is vital!

Another freebie mini kit for week 3 of the NDIDDS competition

One of the week 3 round’s palettes had blues and greens in it … my favorites, so that was my palette choice. Recently someone thought something I had done had glitter trim on it, only it did not. For some reason that made me want to play around with a little glitter and glitz, but only a LITTLE, LOL! … hence the name of the kit. I love the soft greens and blues with a little zing of rust and orange to liven it up! I think this will be a very versatile kit!

Week 2 of the NDIDDS competition: freebie kit Daisy

This week’s part of the NDIDDS competition theme is Girlfriends or Gal Pals. The first thing this theme made me think of was that my friends are “happy flowers” in my life and the daisy to me is a happy flower. Hence the kit name and the daisies in the kit.
Then I started thinking about the things I like to do with my gal pals: going to concerts, out to eat, shopping, seeing a movie, talking on the phone, going on a road trip. There was not room for embellishments that represent all these things, so I chose a few.

I just found out this week that the freebies in each round of the NDIDDS competition will only be available for 1 week, so don’t delay! The newest round of freebies will go live on Friday, so surf over to the gallery at Designs In Digital to see and collect this week’s freebies.
The Week 2 round will be kits relating to Girlfriends or Gal Pals. Should be some GREAT STUFF!!!!!

There are 8 papers and 16 elements in the kit. It’s colorful and funky and would be great for scrapping pictures of celebrations, teenagers, or from the 70s or 80s, or pretty much anything if you like magenta, pink, aqua blues and the other colors.

Wow, it’s been FOREVER since I posted here. I’m sorry. Life just keeps getting in the way. And I’ve been busy trying to learn more skills in terms of digital scrapping and designing … so maybe it will be worth it.

Right now I have joined in at the NDIDDS competition at Designs In Digital. Due to the number of contestants, half of the entries will be in the store at Designs In Digital and half at the sister site Just Digi Layouts. The best part is the entry kits are all FREE for you!

November’s ADS Collab Kit for your enjoyment …

The November kit that the ADS designers have put together should be very interesting. The theme is After Dusk, which immediately made me think “stars!”. The color palette was a little hard for me to get inspiration, as I lean towards liking blues, greens, and neutrals. But I do have my contribution ready for you all to enjoy. At least I hope that you enjoy it!

A New Freebie for You

August was somehow a very busy month for me so I did not take part in the ADS Designer’s Collab megakit. Well, OK, I made a couple of papers for it, but I have to package them up before I can give them away to you folks out there, so hopefully in a couple of days I will post them. In the meanwhile, I hope that everyone got on the blog train and collected all the goodies to Cornucopia of Colors. If not, here is the first blog in the list, Aisne’s blog, and you can follow on from there.

So, over Labor Day weekend I made a mini add-on kit. It’s an add-on to Pillowgirl’s Tropical Punch kit found at My Scrap Shop.
